We
give thanks to God for His continuous Blessing. It is a blessing to
be alive and to serve our Lord in this day and age. Let us not forget
to use each day to live for him!
ANNOUNCEMENTS - Sunday October 22, 2006
Welcome
to today's service.
Blessings upon all who enter this sanctuary today. May each one go home
filled with the joy of the Lord.
PRAISES
AND PRAYER NEEDS
Let us continue
to give thanks to the Lord for his daily deliverance and maintenance.
Our lives would be incomplete and in great danger were it not for His
care and provisions.
Don't
forget to pray for each other during the week and as often as we think
of each other.
1a. Pray for our church as we plan for the transition that must take place with the new assignment for Pastor Simbo and Mrs. Simbo.
b. Electronic prayer letters have now gone out informing potential partners of the changes in the Simbo’s lives. These are to be followed by support letters requesting commitments from people who would support by prayer and financial contributions to the ministry. Please pray that there would be positive, and timely responses to these requests.
2. We had planned a congregational meeting for next Sunday, but there is a proposal that has come for us to consider. We are therefore asking all members to stay for a very short discussion after today’s service. As we all know, our plans for after Rev. Simbo leaves to assume his responsibilities in Sierra Leone are linked with the ministry at Mount Zion Church in Philadelphia. The proposal we are discussing today comes from them.
Please stay after church. Thank you
3. Remember to pray for each other during the week. There are many needs represented in our church family.
